Members of the Golden Triangle Resource Council showed up to a Cascade County Commission meeting Tuesday carrying a petition with roughly 250 signatures, asking commissioners to temporarily halt data center development in the county and push the Montana Legislature to take a closer look at the industry's demands on water, power, and local infrastructure. The ask mirrors similar grassroots efforts that have surfaced in at least two other Montana counties in recent months.
