The Capital High Bruins posted a 20-0 shutout over the Butte Bulldogs on Thursday, October 23rd, in a Big Sky Conference matchup played in Helena.
The Bruins held Butte scoreless through four quarters, a result that speaks to the strength of Capital's defensive unit this season. Details on scoring drives and individual statistical leaders were not available in initial reports, but the margin left little ambiguity about which team controlled the game from start to finish.
The shutout win adds to what has been a strong fall for Capital High football. Butte, meanwhile, absorbs the road loss and will need to regroup as the conference schedule moves toward its final weeks and postseason seeding comes into focus.
