Marly & The Pocket is scheduled to perform at On Broadway, 106 East Broadway, bringing a sound the band describes as rooted in jazz and R&B and pushed toward something harder to categorize.
The group experiments with a mix of electronic and acoustic textures, with vocals, drums, and bass at the center. The indie soul label fits loosely — this is the kind of band that earns it by resisting easier descriptions rather than by checking genre boxes.
On Broadway has been a consistent venue for live original music in Helena, and Marly & The Pocket fits the room's reputation for acts that reward actually listening. Admission details and the specific performance date were not confirmed in materials reviewed for this report — check On Broadway's website or contact the venue directly for current show information.
