Adella Harris of Helena was crowned Miss Montana 2026 on Saturday at the Mother Lode Theatre in Butte, taking the title that will send her to compete at the national level later this year.
Harris is an honors student and resident adviser at Montana State University, where she is studying Political Science. She plans to attend law school following graduation, with a stated focus on public interest or advocacy work. Harper Harryman of Butte was named Miss Montana's Teen 2026 at the same ceremony.
The Miss Montana program is part of the Miss America Organization, and the state title comes with a platform component requiring titleholders to champion a cause during their year of service. Specific platform details for Harris were not immediately available.
Helena has produced a number of Miss Montana titleholders over the years, and Harris's win adds to that tradition. She will represent the state at the Miss America competition later this year.
