The Capital High Bruins dominated Hellgate's Knights 56-26 in a non-conference varsity football game played October 9 in Helena, handing the Missoula squad a lopsided road loss.
The 30-point margin was no late-game cushion — it reflected a game that was out of hand well before the final whistle. Hellgate made the trip west over McDonald Pass and left with little to show for it, unable to slow a Bruins offense that piled up points throughout the contest.
For Capital, the win keeps the Bruins in strong form heading deeper into the fall schedule. The home crowd on the west side of Helena got a convincing performance from a team that's made Last Chance Gulch proud this season.
