The Helena High Bengals dropped a conference volleyball match to the Big Sky Eagles 0-3 on Wednesday, October 8, falling in straight sets on their home floor.
Details on individual set scores were not available, but the loss counts against Helena in Class AA Western Conference standings as the postseason approaches. Big Sky made the trip to Helena and left with a clean sweep, a result that will factor into seeding conversations over the coming weeks.
The Bengals' next scheduled matches will determine whether Wednesday's loss is a stumble or part of a longer slide. Helena High's varsity squad will need to regroup before their next conference outing.
