Jerry Seinfeld is bringing his current stand-up tour to the Helena Civic Center on Friday, October 2, with an 7 p.m. curtain. It's not a small get for a city this size — the Civic Center doesn't land a comedian at this level every year.
Seinfeld, who built his reputation on close observation of the frictions and absurdities of everyday life, has stayed active in recent years through a pair of Emmy-nominated Netflix projects: "Jerry Before Seinfeld" and "23 Hours to Kill." The Helena show is part of his newest stand-up tour.
Tickets are on sale now. The Civic Center is located on Neill Avenue. Anyone who's been waiting for a reason to finally use that venue for something other than a graduation or a trade show — this is probably it.
