The Last Chance Community Pow Wow returns to the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall this weekend for its 27th year, running Friday, September 25 through Sunday, September 27. Admission is free and open to the public.
Grand Entries are scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at noon and 6 p.m., and Sunday at noon. The weekend will feature Native dancing, drumming, 50/50 raffles, and traditional foods including Pow Wow Indian tacos and frybread. The event draws dancers and drum groups from across the region and has been a fixture on Helena's cultural calendar for more than two decades.
The fairgrounds Exhibit Hall is located at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds on the north side of Helena. Organizers welcome both longtime attendees and first-timers, and the free admission makes it one of the more accessible cultural events Helena hosts each year.
