The Helena High Bengals varsity volleyball team defeated the Capital High Bruins 3-0 in an away conference match Thursday, October 1, adding another win in what has been a competitive fall season for the crosstown rivals.
The sweep was the cleaner result of the two schools' recent meetings, with the Bengals taking all three sets on Capital's home floor. Details on individual set scores were not immediately available, but a 3-0 result reflects a dominant showing from Helena High across the board.
Both programs play out of Helena, making every matchup between them a local story. The Bengals' conference record now includes this road win as they push deeper into the fall schedule.
