Carroll College Theatre opened its fall production of Firebringer, a Stone Age musical comedy from StarKid Productions, with performances running October 2 through 11 in the FLEX Theatre on the lower level of the Carroll College Campus Center.

The show follows two women with sharply different worldviews navigating life in a prehistoric tribe. Jemilla leads through tradition and the rules that have kept her people alive, while her counterpart pushes toward change — a dynamic that gives the comedy some actual stakes beneath the laughs. StarKid Productions is known for irreverent, fan-driven musicals that blend pop culture sensibility with theatrical craft.

The FLEX Theatre is a flexible black-box style venue tucked into Carroll's campus center, giving the production an intimate setting well-suited to the ensemble energy of a musical comedy. Carroll's theatre program has used the space for a range of productions, from straight drama to musicals, and Firebringer represents one of the program's more comedically ambitious choices in recent memory.

Performance times and ticket prices were not included in available listings. Interested audiences should contact Carroll College's theatre department or check the campus events calendar for showtimes before the run closes October 11.
