The Helena High Bengals took a lopsided defeat on the road Friday, falling to the Glacier Wolfpack 49-13 in Kalispell in a Class AA conference matchup. The 36-point margin was a tough result for a Bengal program that made the trip west across the Continental Divide looking to stay competitive in conference standings.
The Wolfpack controlled the game from early on, building a lead that the Bengals were unable to close. Helena managed 13 points on the night but could not generate the sustained offensive output needed to keep pace with Glacier's attack.
The loss adds another difficult entry to Helena High's conference record as the season moves into its later weeks. The Bengals will return home to regroup before their next scheduled contest.
