The Montana Supreme Court has approved bar admission for two attorneys under Rule V, which allows qualified lawyers licensed in other states to be admitted to practice in Montana, according to separate orders filed in Cause No. PR 26-0005.
Jason William Jording was approved for admission pending payment of application fees and completion of other processing requirements set by the Bar Admissions Administrator. However, his request to be sworn in by a local Montana District Court judge was denied without prejudice, with the court noting that denial was pending identification of a specific judge to conduct the ceremony.
Susan Grace Dana was also approved for admission under the same conditions. Her order notes that arrangements for the swearing-in ceremony can be made by contacting the office of the Clerk of the Montana Supreme Court.
Rule V admissions allow experienced attorneys from other jurisdictions to practice in Montana without sitting for the full bar examination, subject to certain eligibility requirements. Once fees are paid and processing is complete, both Jording and Dana will be authorized to practice law in Montana.
