West Mont is inviting Helena families out to its farm property at 3240 York Road on Saturday, September 26, for Harvest Day 2026 — a free annual event that has become one of the more quietly beloved fall traditions on the east side of town.

The day includes hay rides, pumpkins for sale, free children's activities, and face painting, along with other programming the organization hasn't fully detailed yet. Admission is free, which makes it accessible to the full range of Helena families who might otherwise pass on a ticketed fall festival.

West Mont operates programs and services supporting people with developmental disabilities in the Helena area, and the York Road farm property is part of that mission — providing both agricultural programming and community connection. Harvest Day serves as both a fundraiser through pumpkin sales and a public open house, giving neighbors a chance to see the farm and what West Mont does there.

The event runs Saturday, September 26, at 3240 York Road. No registration appears to be required for general admission.
