Grandstreet Theatre's 48 Hours to Curtain youth class will bring "Annie KIDS" to the stage at 325 North Park Avenue, marking the culmination of a year's worth of rehearsal and preparation for the student performers.

The production is adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a book and score by Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse, and Martin Charnin. The story follows little orphan Annie through 1930s New York City as she searches for the parents who left her at an orphanage, outwits the villainous Miss Hannigan, and finds a new family with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his secretary Grace Farrell, and a dog named Sandy.

The 48 Hours to Curtain program is a youth performance class that operates out of Grandstreet Theatre throughout the year, giving student participants hands-on experience in theatrical production. This performance represents the class's end-of-year showcase.

Tickets are available through the Grandstreet Theatre website. The theater is located at 325 North Park Avenue in Helena.
