The Capital High Bruins fell to the Missoula Sentinel Spartans 28-19 in an away conference game Thursday, October 15, leaving Helena's varsity football program with a loss in the win column as the season heads deeper into conference play.

The Bruins traveled to Missoula for the matchup, where Sentinel controlled enough of the game to pull away by nine points. Capital managed 19 points on the road but couldn't close the gap against a Spartan squad that held the lead at the final whistle.

The loss adds weight to what has become a challenging stretch of conference games for Capital. No injury reports or standout individual statistics were immediately available following the game. The Bruins return home for their next scheduled contest.
