The Archie Bray Foundation hosted a staff showcase Thursday, May 14, at the Frances Senska Center for Education and Engagement — a free event that turned the spotlight away from resident artists and onto the people who keep the Bray running year-round.
The "Artist Amplified" installment of the Bray's lecture series was designed to highlight staff members who maintain active studio practices alongside their institutional roles. It's a format that acknowledges something longtime Bray visitors already know: the people who work there are working artists, not just arts administrators.
The event was open to the public in person and available for streaming online, keeping with the Bray's recent practice of making programming accessible beyond those who can make it out to the north-side campus. No ticket was required.
