Tony of Florian Trout Studio is setting up a pop-up show at Blackfoot River Brewing's taproom on Monday, May 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. The show is free and open to anyone who wants to browse original artwork, prints, hand-tied flies, and custom fly rod commissions over a pint.

Blackfoot River Brewing has become a reliable venue for pairing local art with local beer, and the Florian Trout pop-up fits that pattern. For fly fishing enthusiasts, the custom rod commissions in particular offer something you won't find at a chain sporting goods store — work made by a Helena artist who ties his own flies.
