The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation has recorded six active groundwater rights in Lewis and Clark County, according to state water right records. The Vistas at Red Fox Meadows Condo Association holds a ground water certificate for domestic and lawn and garden use at a flow rate of 35 gallons per minute, covering 0.34 irrigated acres. Barbara A. Reed holds a ground water certificate for domestic use at 30 gallons per minute. Kris M. Schmitz and Robert J. Schmitz hold a ground water certificate for domestic and lawn and garden use at 16 gallons per minute, covering 0.1 irrigated acres. Diane A. St. Claire holds a ground water certificate for domestic, lawn and garden, and stock use at 30 gallons per minute, covering 3 irrigated acres. Judith A. Mitchell and Scott E. Mitchell hold a ground water certificate for irrigation and domestic use at 35 gallons per minute, covering 3 irrigated acres. Jane T. Fallon holds a provisional permit — a separate designation from a certificate — for domestic, lawn and garden, stock, and irrigation use at 32 gallons per minute, covering 3.75 irrigated acres.
