Grandstreet Theatre's production of Shrek the Musical appeared in no fewer than three separate daily stories this week — a signal that the show is generating real community buzz and that the theater is leaning hard into promotion for what it's billing as a family centerpiece of the summer season. But Grandstreet wasn't alone. The Archie Bray Foundation's annual Brickyard Bash returned Saturday with a homecoming theme, the Montana Clay Tour opened more than 40 artists across six Helena-area studios for a full weekend, the Helena Symphony announced its season opener built around the nation's 250th anniversary, and Grammy-nominated pianist Judy Carmichael is coming to town.
