The Helena High Bengals varsity volleyball team fell to the Bozeman Hawks 3-0 in a non-conference home match on September 29, giving the Hawks a clean sweep on the Bengals' home floor.
The match was played as a non-conference contest, meaning the loss won't factor directly into league standings, but a three-set shutout against a Bozeman program that has been a perennial contender in Class AA is a measuring stick result either way. No individual set scores were reported.
The Bengals will need to regroup before conference play resumes. Fans looking for the next home match can check the Helena High athletics schedule for updated dates and opponents.
