Carroll College Theatre is wrapping up its run of Firebringer, a Stone Age musical comedy from StarKid Productions, with performances through October 11 in the FLEX Theatre on the lower level of the Carroll College Campus Center. The show has been running since October 2.

The musical follows two women with clashing worldviews in a prehistoric tribal setting. Jemilla leads the tribe through tradition and the rules that have kept her people alive, while another member of the group pushes toward something new — the discovery of fire. The show blends comedy and music in the style StarKid Productions is known for, leaning into the absurdity of the premise while telling a story about change and resistance to it.

The FLEX Theatre is an intimate black-box style space that seats audiences close to the action, which suits the production's comedic timing. Anyone who hasn't caught the show yet has only a few performances left. Ticket information is available through Carroll College.
