The Helena City Commission voted 4-0 to table three agenda items related to the proposed Trinity Center minor subdivision at the applicant's request. The items included a rezoning consideration, a resolution of intention to annex approximately 44.186 acres identified as Tract A1A1 on Certificate of Survey No. 3430211 in Lewis and Clark County, and a phased preliminary plat for the subdivision. Commissioner Reid made the motion, which carried without dissent.

All three items were moved to the April 6, 2026 regular commission meeting. City staff confirmed that tabling at the applicant's request does not run afoul of the 35-day preliminary plat hearing timeline requirement, because an applicant who requests a continuance may set their own schedule.

No members of the public commented on any of the three Trinity Center items at the March 23 meeting. The 44-acre parcel would represent a significant addition to Helena city limits if the annexation ultimately moves forward. Commissioners will take up the matter again on April 6.
