ExplorationWorks is bringing back its signature fundraiser this fall — the 19th Annual Nightmare Affair Gala — set for Saturday, October 24, at the Best Western Premier Helena Great Northern Hotel. The adults-only Halloween celebration runs from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. for dinner, with music and dancing continuing until 11:00 p.m.
The event has been a fixture on Helena's fall social calendar for nearly two decades, serving as one of ExplorationWorks' primary fundraising nights of the year. The science and discovery museum on Last Chance Gulch relies on events like the Nightmare Affair to support its programming and exhibits.
Tickets range from $99 to $875, reflecting a range of sponsorship and table options. Those interested can purchase tickets through ExplorationWorks directly. The Great Northern ballroom has hosted the event in recent years, giving the evening a downtown Helena anchor that draws supporters from across the valley.
