The Holter Museum's Frances Senska Center for Education and Engagement hosted its second summer resident panel of the season Thursday evening, bringing together a new cohort of artists for what the Bray billed as a lightning-round discussion format moderated by center staff. The event, free and open to the public, was also available to stream online for those who couldn't make it in person.
The Artist Amplified series gives Helena residents a chance to hear directly from the working artists who cycle through the area on summer residencies — a program that has long made the Archie Bray Foundation one of the more distinctive cultural anchors in the region. The lightning-round format keeps things moving and tends to surface the kind of candid, off-the-cuff observations about process and place that more formal lectures don't always produce.
A first summer resident panel earlier in the season drew a solid turnout, and Thursday's Part II continued the tradition of connecting artists with the broader Helena community. No admission was charged.
