ICE Detains More Than 100 in Gallatin County Raids; Helena Advocates on Alert

A wave of immigration enforcement operations swept through Gallatin County this week, with community organizations estimating that more than 100 people were detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The raids, described as targeted operations, left residents and immigrant advocacy groups in Bozeman shaken — and prompted immediate concern among similar organizations in Helena, roughly 90 miles to the west.
